Germany's Victoria Carl and Norway's Fredrik Riseth are the 2015 FIS World Junior cross-country ski champions in the 1.3km classic sprint competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

In second place in the ladies' sprint behind Carl was Russia's Yulia Belorukova +1.64, and in third another Russian Natalia Nepryaeva +2.18.

In the men's final it was a clear victory for Riseth winning by +4.85 seconds over second place finisher Alexander Bakanov of Russia. In third was Norway's Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo +8.00.
