Alexey Chervotkin led the Russian podium sweep of the men's 10 km free technique competition at the FIS Nordic Jr World Ski Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He won in a time of 23:36.4. His teammate Denis Spitsov took second +15.9 back followed by another teammate Alexander Bakanov +34.4 in third.
