ATHLETE QUOTES

Charlotte Kalla SWE
It feels great to win a World Cup again. The crowd here in Ostersund was so encouraging. I know the courses here very well and I felt strong. The 15th of February is a special day for me. I won Olympic Gold in Vancouver on this day and again last year in Sochi we won the relay on this day, and now a World Cup win today. I will travel to Falun on Tuesday and prepare for the Skiathlon.

Marit Bjoergen NOR
I didn’t feel as strong today as yesterday. But I am really happy for Charlotte. It is so nice to see her back on top of the podium. It’s great for her and it’s important for the sport, especially with the World Championships here in Sweden.

Therese Johaug NOR
It wasn’t a great day for me today. I didn’t feel like I could find my best gear, but it’s ok. I have just come from altitude so I never know how I will feel right away. I still have time to get ready for the Skiathlon next week. I was in good shape before we went to Seiser Alm and it was a good camp so I am confident that I will be in good shape for Falun.
