•First distance World Cup win for Krogh
•First male athlete to win both competitions in one weekend this season for Krogh
•First podium this season for Hellner and Manificat

ATHLETE QUOTES

Finn Hagen Krogh NOR
I am obviously happy with today’s result. I didn’t expect that I could win today. I just focused on my race plan and tried to ski fast at the end of the race and it worked. This is my first World Cup win in a distance competition. I hope it’s enough now for a start at the World Championships. I felt a little tired from yesterday’s sprint but I was prepared to race both races this weekend so I could show how good my shape is.

Maurice Manificat FRA
I really like this course. The climbs are very natural and it feels like a real track in the forest. The spectators were great along the course. I think I saw a jacuzzi. I skied today with both Finn and Sundby at different times in the race so I knew that I was having a good race.

Marcus Hellner SWE
It’s always nice to race in Sweden. You can feel the energy from the crowd and it’s nice to be on the podium here. It is good for the confidence heading to Falun. I will race the Skiathlon, 15 km F and the team relay. I am not sure I will do any other races as I haven’t been able to race too much this season without getting tired. So I will focus on those.
