Bansko, Bulgaria – Fog led to the cancellation of Friday and Saturday's super-G races and was a disturbing factor again on Sunday for the first and only scheduled alpine combined race of the season.

A big weekend of back-to-back moguls events in Tazawako, Japan, wrapped up on Sunday with a thrilling dual moguls event that saw 17-year-old Morgan Schild (USA) capture her first World Cup victory on the ladies' side and Mikael Kingsbury (CAN) set one record and tie another in the men's competition.

The Norwegian ski jumpers won the team competition at the World Championships in Falun. With 872.6 points Anders Jacobsen, Anders Fannemel, Anders Bardal and Rune Velta took a clear win ahead of Austria and Poland.

In a spectacular competition, Bernhard Gruber from Austria has taken the World Champion title on the large hill in Falun. He finished 11.9 seconds earlier than his toughest opponent, Francois Braud from France.
