Right after the last World Cup weekend, the Norwegian Ski Federation has nominated its team for the upcoming Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun, Sweden. 
China tops in Lake Placid aerials team event

The second-ever World Cup aerials team event took place on Saturday night at Lake Placid's Whiteface Mountain in difficult conditions, with frigid temperatures and strong winds making for a tough night for the highest jumpers in the world. 
Slovenia wins in Willingen

The jumpers of Slovenia won the team competition in Willingen. Jurij Tepes, Nejc Dezman, Jernej Damjan and Peter Prevc scored a total of 957.9 points and took a clear win ahead of Germany and Norway. 
Norway and USA announce team's for Falun 2015

The Norwegian and American Ski Federations have announced their cross-country ski team selections for the upcoming FIS Nordic World Championships in Falun, Sweden taking place from the 19 February to 1 March, 2015. 
Kreiner and Meschik with 1-2 punch for Austria while Wild strikes back in Rogla

More than ten days after the FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships wrapped up in Kreischberg, Austria the Alpine Snowboard World Cup tour picked up pace again with the season's second parallel giant slalom event in Rogla, Slovenia today where Marion Kreiner (AUT) and Vic Wild (RUS) came out successfully of a star-studded field. 
Winning streak of Iraschko-Stolz continues

Daniela Iraschko-Stolz won her first home competition in Hinzenbach and took her third win in a row. With jumps on 93 m and 91.5 m and 251.4 points, the Austrian won ahead of Olympic Champion Carina Vogt, the third place went to Sara Takanashi. 
Ramanouskaya and Bohonnon score first career wins in Lake Placid aerials

It was the biggest night of their lives for several young athletes on the Freestyle World Cup tour, as Aliaksandra Ramanouskaya (BLR) lead a slate of ladies who claimed their first career World Cup podiums, and Mac Bohonnon (USA) took his first career win in aerials competition under the lights in tough weather conditions in Lake Placid on Friday night.

Khoroshilov writes history in Schladming

In tonight’s slalom race in Schladming, Russian Alexander Khoroshilov made history as after putting together two flawless runs he claimed the first men’s Alpine World Cup victory for Russia ever since Alexander Zhirov won his last race, a giant slalom in Laax in 1981.
