The FIS Ladies' Grand Prix 2016 is history and once again Japanese Sara Takanashi wrote a big part of this history. In Chaikovsky, the 19-year-old from Kamikawa-City took her third win in the third Grand Prix competition this summer and secured the overall title of the FIS Grand Prix 2016 with the maximum of 300 points.

In a dramatic final of the Summer Grand Prix 2016, Jarl Riiber was crowned the overall winner - a historic first Summer Grand Prix overall win for a Norwegian athlete in Nordic Combined.

WANAKA, New Zealand (9 September, 2016) – Three days of elite cross-country ski racing began at Snow Farm near Wanaka, New Zealand today with the FIS Australia New Zealand Cup (ANC) Sprint Classic for men and women.

A record number of over 100 participants and 15 nations made the second Youth Cup of the summer in Oberstdorf into a great success.

Cardrona Alpine Resort, home to the New Zealand Park and Pipe Team, will be hosting a not-to-be-missed spectacle this spring, with the Cardrona Games taking place at the resort from 12 – 16 September.

Japan's Taku Takeuchi took the win in the second competition of the FIS Grand Prix in Hakuba (JPN). 

Nordic Combined shooting star Jarl Riiber has taken his first Summer Grand Prix win in the Individual Gundersen event in Oberwiesenthal.

Heidi Weng and Petter Northug won this year's edition of Toppidrettsveka, held in Aure and Trondheim from 18th - 20th August.

The second Continental Cup competition on the Puijo in Kuopio (FIN) on Sunday morning ended with a win of nordic combined skier Jarl Magnus Riiber.
