The World Cup snowboard cross test event for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games took place on Saturday at Korea’s Bokwang Phoenix Park resort, with Chloe Trespeuch (FRA) claiming her first World Cup win in the ladies’ event and Nate Holland (USA) returning to the top of the podium after a four-year dry spell in the men’s competition.
The Audi FIS World Cup City Event in Stockholm provided countless fireworks as the top 16 men and ladies’ battled it out on the slalom course on Hammarby hill overlooking the city. In the end, Marcel Hirscher (AUT) and Wendy Holdener (SUI) came away with the crowns, but host Sweden could hold its head high after an excellent performance.
