All-russian public organization «Russian ski jumping and nordic combined federation», was founded in 1992.

Russian ski jumping and nordic combined federation is recognized by FIS to be the only public organization that own exclusive rights of developing and controlling ski jumping and nordic combined on the territory of Russian Federation and the right of representing Russian Federation in international organizations and Olympic movement.

Federation acts through its structure departments - regional organisations.

It was founded with an objective of developing, propaganda and popularisation of cross country skiing in Russia.
