Andreas Kofler left Falun early
For Austrian Andreas Kofler the World Championships in Falun are over already before the events on the large hill.
The 30-year-old didn't have a place on the team for the competitions on the normal hill last week. Also in the first training on the large hill on Monday, in which many top athletes didn't take part, he could not show good performances and was only 28th and 27th in the two rounds.
That's why Andreas Kofler and head coach Heinz Kuttin decided that he shall now return back home from Sweden early. "I wish the situation would be different. I tried to improve here, but in my point of view I couldn't do that", the Tyrolean is quoted on sportnet.at.
The former 4-Hills-Tournament winner now wants to train in Seefeld to get in a better shape for the remaining World Cups of this season.
