Cast your vote for Athlete of the Month of March
The United States Sports Academy has announced its Athlete of the Month ballot for March 2015.
From the FIS disciplines, the list of world-class athletes includes skiing ace Lindsey Vonn (USA), Cross-Country queen Marit Bjoergen (NOR) and Nordic Combined rising star Akito Watabe (JPN).
Everyone is encouraged to cast their vote on the Academy’s website www.ussa.edu. One male and one female will be chosen the winners as decided by the public.
The United States Sports Academy is an independent, non-profit, accredited, special-mission sports university created to serve the nation and world with programmes in instruction, research and service. The role of the Academy is to prepare men and ladies for careers in the profession of sports.
Vonn and Bjoergen are also nominated for the SportAccord Awards: Vonn in the Sports Hero category and and Bjoergen as Female Athlete of the Year, which will be awarded later this month at the annual SportAccord Convention in Sochi (RUS).
