Olympic and World Champion Tor Arne Hetland is coming home to join the Norwegian national team's coaching staff. Tor Arne Hetland is going to work closely with the head coach Trond Nystad and will be based in Trondheim.

"I feel privileged to work in Norway who has so many great Cross-Country skiers. I have been looking forward to this for many years, and now I got the chance," Hetland said to NRK sport.

After the end of his skiing career, Tor Arne Hetland was working five years as a coach in Germany, Switzerland and lately in Canada.
