Haavard Klemetsen plans to continue for the next two years
The season 2014/15 has seen many Nordic Combined veterans retire - this will not be the case for Norway’s Haavard Klemetsen.
The 36-year-old plans to continue his career until the World Championships in Lahti at least. „I wish to continue my athletic career towards new goals and dreams I still have. I am motivated, hungry for success and want continue developing further. I have the belief that I can still become better", Klemetsen is quoted in the newspaper Altaposten. With one Olympic and six World Championship team medals, Klemetsen is still missing an individual medal. So far, he has won one World Cup and stood on the podium seven times.
