New additions in the Rossignol family
After a wonderful season marked by 48 World Cup podiums and 8 medals during the Vail World Championships, Rossignol Group announces the signature of several new contracts for next winter.
At almost 30 years old, Jens Byggmark gives a second breath to his career by signing a contract of 2 seasons with the brand that followed him since his earliest childhood. The Swedish slalom skier has 8 World Cup podiums including a particularly memorable double victory in Kitzbühel in 2007.
“I’m super happy to be back to where it all started. Rossignol was the brand that took me into the Swedish Junior team and already there they gave me massive support. It ́s feels so good how Rossi is welcoming me into their team and I ́m so excited to work with the whole crew and to make me as fast as I know I can be!” Byggmark said of the transiton.

“I’m really happy to be back in the Rossignol/Lange family, with the team I had my greatest results. I’m happy to have found a very motivated team, with the strict focus on outstanding achievements. I’m sure that together we can again fight constantly for top positions. I’m very thankful for the great opportunity Rossignol gave me and I can’t wait to face this new challenge!” Heel said.

The Rossignol Team reinforces its presence in Austria with the arrival of three additional heroes. The young and promising speed skier Otmar Striedinger (1 podium in World Cup) will be accompanied by his teammate Florian Scheiber whereas on the technical side, Michael Matt - the young brother of recently retired slalom star Mario – will compete on Rossignol equipment.
“We had some testing days in April in Sölden. During that, I took the decision to work together with Rossignol. I appreciate the commitment of the brand in this project and the perfect solution we found with skis service and boots service. I have to get used to the Rossignol’s staff and I will be back on snow this summer to finalize my set-up for next season,” Striedinger said.
