Daniel Andre Tande wins "Sommerhuppuka"
uThe traditional "Sommerhoppuka" (Summer Jumping Week) was held in Norway this weekend with a total of three competitions on two different hills.

On Friday, Kenneth Gangnes won on the Gjerpenkollen in Drammen with jumps on 77 m and 73.5 m and 233.0 points. Anders Fannemel, with 77.5 m in the lead after the first round, came in second with 72 m and 230.3 points. 0.3 points behind, Tom Hilde (76 m and 72 m) followed in third. World Champion Rune Velta closely missed the podium in fourth with 229.3 points (75.5 m and 71.5 m).

After his seventh place on Friday, Philliip Sjoeen won the first competition on the Midtstubakken in Oslo on Saturday with 259.1 points and 103.5 m and 98 m. Anders Fannemel repeated his second place with two jumps on 99.5 m and a total of 256.6 points. Daniel Andre Tande, sixth in Drammen, took the third place with 254.6 points (100 m and 98.5 m).

Daniel Andre Tande then dominated the final event on Sunday, also on the Midtstubakken, with 104 m and 109.5 m and 290.2 points. Joachim Hauer finished second with 103 m and 98.5 m (263.7 points), followed by Phillip Sjoeen with 99.5 m and 100.5 m (259.2 points).

With the places six, three and one, Daniel Andre Tande was the best in the overall ranking of the Sommerhoppuka with a total of 769.9 points, ahead of world record holder Anders Fannemel (745.1 points) and Phillip Sjoeen (740.6 points).

Line Jahr the best of the ladies

Maren Lundby won the ladies' competition on the Gjerpenkollen with 68.5 m and 73.5 m (232.9 points), followed by Line Jahr (74.5 m / 79 m; 230.7 points) and Anniken Mork (63 m / 67 m; 196.5 points). Line Jahr was then the best in both competitions in Oslo. On Saturday she won with 226.5 points (89.5 m and 101 m) ahead of Maren Lundby (87 m / 97 m; 213.5 points) and Tonje Bakke (79 m / 81 m; 151.5 points). Also on Sunday, Lundby (90.5 m / 92 m; 206.5 points) and Bakke (81.5 m / 80.5 m; 161.5 points) came in second and third clearly behind Line Jahr (94 m / 100.5 m; 236.5 points).

Line Jahre (693.7 points), Maren Lundby (652.9 points) and Tonje Bakke (497.1 points) finished also on the Top 3 places of the overall ranking.
