Skiing power couple Marlies Schild and Benni Raich are having a baby as they announced via facebook today.

„I was able to experience many beautiful things which I am very thankful for“, Schild wrote. „But to feel this new wonder is unique. We are looking forward to a new part of our lives.“

After Schild’s retirement in September 2014, pregnancy speculations were running rampant but after her an Benni Raich’s wedding in April, the two ski champions will now well any truly turn over a new chapter. I how far this will influence Benni Raich’s decision to continue his career or not remains to be seen.
