A „minor setback“ for Lindsey Vonn: After a training crash in which the American sustained an injury to her ankle, she had to quit her training camp in New Zealand and is headed back the the USA.

Vonn announced the mishap on her facebook page: „Hey guys, I unfortunately crashed today while training in New Zealand. I have a small fracture in my ankle and have to head back to the states now. I will let you know when I have more info."

So far, Vonn’s training camp had been going quite well. She even surprised spectators as a forerunner at New Zealand's national championships in Giant Slalom at Coronet Peak.
