Alliansloppet this Sunday live

Trollhättan in Sweden is going to host one of the rollerskiing highlights of the summer season - the Alliansloppet.

Once again Trollhättan becomes the host venue of the ski party with the Alliansloppet, the world's largest roller skiing event.

“It is amazing that we have again such a big start field,” say the chiefs of competition Anders Engelbrekt (sprint and uphill race) and Örjan Eriksson (Alliance race).

“We have a new approach this year. Rather than competing three days we have two competitions only; Integra Sprint Race and Sting Hill Race in a tight event during Friday August 21 – all to create a really ski party for the audience,” Engelbrekt explains.

“After the two exciting races we are going to end the ski festival on Saturday August 22 with classic Alliance race,” Eriksson concludes.

As in previous years Integra Sprint and Alliansloppet are part of the Ski Team Sweden Roll Cup and Alliansloppet race is its final.

Approximately 1400 athletes are going to take part oin the events from Friday to Sunday. On Friday the Integra prologue sprint starts at 16:10 and the finals at 17:30. Sting Hill Race starts at 19:30 with ladies’ competition, men’s race is scheduled at 20:00. Alliansloppet will be TV broadcasted at the Swedish channel TV4 Sport. You can watch the race HERE.

In Allianloppet, many of the world's long-distance elite starts. Names like Johan Kjölstad, NOR, Lukas Bauer, CZE, Daniel Richardsson, Hudiksvalls IF, Katerina Smutna, AUT and Hanna Falk, Ulrichamns IF are just some of the names in the strong field.
