This spring the Italian Ski Association announced that there will be no ladies' national team for the upcoming season, this decision was now revised and a team for the 2015/16 season was named.

The Italian ladies' team for the upcoming season consists of Evelyn Insam, Elena Runggaldier, Veronica Gianmoena, Manuela Malsiner and Lara Malsiner.

New head coach of the Italian ladies wil be Janko Zwitter. The 44-year-old Austrian was recently coaching in Japan, where he was also working with Sara Takanashi. New assistant coach of the team is Italian Romed Moroder.
