Beat Feuz plans his comeback for Wengen
After partially tearing his achilles tendon in a training accident in Chile on August 30, Switzerland’s Beat Feuz is already making comeback-plans. The World Championship bronze medallist had to undergo surgery which went so well that he is already thinking ahead to the point in time when he can be back on skis.
„The goal is to be back on skis in three to four months. If this works, I am hoping for a comeback in Wengen“, Feuz explained. At the moment, he needs to be patient and give his right leg two to three weeks rest. After this period, rehabilitation will start with partial physical stresses on the injured limb.
With this the initially communicated forced break of a minimum of three months was confirmed and Feuz will not accompany the team to the USA in November. He will return to the World Cup presumably in January.
