In the face of the refugees crisis happening all over Europe right now, the Norwegian Nordic Combined team joined the efforts to help. „It is important to care for your fellow human beings in the refugee crisis“, initiator Mikko Kokslien said.

On the 15th and 22nd of September, Kokslien and the team of the YOG 2016 Lillehammer will collect winter clothes, shoes and sports equipment for more than 300 refugees that Kokslien’s sponsor Blostrupmoen Medical Equipment cares for in three refugee centres.

„Physical activity and play can mean a lot to create joy in such a situation as well as warm clothes and shoes for the winter. We hope many will provide sports equipment such as footballs to help create new and positive experiences for those who come to Blostrupmoen’s centres“, Kokslien adds.

The clothing and sports equipment will go directly to the three reception centers, delivered by Kokslien himself.

Tuesday, 15th of September, 17-19:00 at the Lysgårdsbakken, parking lot at the south entrance

Tuesday, 22nd of September, from 18:00. It will be possible to deliver all donations to Cafe Stift to the YOG event „Trivelig for frivillig“.
