How was your summer training?

We were just in Magglingen and completed the performance tests. In the summer I was able to train the way I had planned. The test values has proven it too, ​they are in a very good area, just as in the years 2012 and 2013.

Did you get any new impulses in your training?

We have continued to optimise the training. It was important to strengthen cooperation with our coach Jan Hudac. For the first time I carried out a high altitude training which was longer than 3 weeks. I was healthy, without injury and I feel very good.

You are Olympic champion, World champion, Tour de Ski - winner - what is your motivation, what are your goals in the coming winter?

The focus lies in the overall World Cup, meaning that the results at the at Ruka Triple, Tour de Ski and Ski Tour Canada must be very good, because here many World Cup points are up for grabs. I am very much looking forward to the start of the new season.
