Robert Kranjec, who fractured his elbow in a crash in Innsbruck last week, only has to take a short break from jumping training and plans to compete in the World Cup opening.
The Slovene underwent surgery in Slovenia right after his fall on Friday and was able to leave the hospital again last weekend.
The 34-year-old already started with physical training and wants to jump again in about two weeks.
"I'm fine. I hope I can be back on the hill as soon as possible. Maybe I'll join the team next week in Oberstdorf, but for sure my season will start in Klingenthal", Robert Kranjec said in a first statement.
The World Cup opening of the 2015/16 season will take place in the Vogtland-Arena in Klingenthal (GER) from November 20th to 22nd.
