After a crash during today’s training in Sölden, Anna Fenninger was injured and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Innsbruck. The medical examination showed a fracture of the collateral and the anterior cruciate ligament of her right knee. She also suffered a tear of the patellar tendon. The multiple Overall World Cup Winner will undergo surgery this afternoon.

The injury will sideline Fenninger for an extended period of time, however there is no information about her eventual come-back, as the focus is currently on the surgery and her recovery.
