Right in time for the beginning of the World Cup Season, ski champions Marlies Schild and Benjamin Raich became parents this afternoon. Their son’s name is Josef and he is 3430 g.

Once he realizes, the newborn baby will probably be very proud of his parents. Together they won 73 World Cup races and earned 20 medals at World Ski Championships and Olympic Games.

Congratulations to the young parents and all the best to the little one.
