Each year the project Juskila from Swiss-Ski sees 600 children given a full winter experience. Steeped in history and well-known throughout Switzerland, Juskila will be celebrating its 75thanniversary in 2015.
In celebration of its 75th year, the Swiss capital Bern will come alive with sound of snow sports. From 5th – 7th November a snow ramp will be constructed in the middle of Bern. School children from the city will be invited to try snow sports and show their skills.
Away from the snow ramp, Migros, Lenk-Simmental Tourism, Schweizer Fleisch, Youth + Sport, Skiclub Bern and Swiss-Ski will provide supporting programme with a verity of winter activities and musical entertainment.
The undisputed highlight of the three-day event will be the draw on Saturday for the 600 participants of the 75th Juskila youth ski camp. The presentation will be made by Alpine star Beat Feuz.
Swiss native and FIS President Gian Franco Kasper commented “75 years of Juskila is a big milestone. We are very happy to see this city event added to the programme and I encourage all families and children to join in the celebrations”
