Peter Prevc voted "Athlete of the Year"
Huge honor for Peter Prevc: He was voted "Athlete of the Year 2015" by the Association of Sports Journalists in Slovenia.
Last season, the 23-year-old took three wins in the World Cup and achieved 14 podium finishes. In February in Vikersund he was the first ski jumper to ever reach the 250 m mark in ski flying. In the overall World Cup he came in second, tied for points with the winner Severin Freund.
This year he took the title of "Athlete of the Year" in Slovenia for the third time in a row. He won with 236 votes ahead of biathlete Jakov Fak (177 votes) and snowboarder Zan Kosir (133 votes).
