Anna Gasser sidelined for six weeks
Austria's best female slopestyle rider Anna Gasser has suffered an injury of the intervertebral disc in a training accident which occurred in Woodward, Colorado during her preparations for the up-coming competitions.
According to a media release, the 24-year-old Carinthian will be sidelined from action for six weeks.
The 2015 world championships silver medalist didn't land a backside double cork 1080 into a landing pit correctly which led to the injury.
As a result, Gasser will now travel back home to Austria to undergo some further medical checks.
