Further information about the state of health of Austrian Lukas Mueller, who fell during a ski flying test round on Wednesday, was released on Friday.

The press release of the hospital in Graz, where the 23-year-old is currently treated, is as follows:

The patient has injuries to the spine in the area C6 / C7. The surgery on Wednesday went well and without complications. A neurological examination on Thursday found that he is incompletely paralyzed in the legs. Lukas Mueller cannot move his legs at the moment however, a final and definite prognosis cannot be given at the present time. As his condition continues to stabilize, Mueller will stay in the intensive care unit at LKH - University Hospital in Graz.
