Matt Graham has taken home the 2016 Ski and Snowboard Australia Athlete of the Year award after an outstanding season, which saw him finish second overall in the FIS moguls World Cup.

Graham earned the award ahead of aerials athlete Danielle Scott, who had a superb season to  finish second overall in the World Cup, and snowboard cross athlete Belle Brockhoff, who won her first World Cup event and finished ranked third overall.

The snowboard cross team earned the Outstanding Achievement award. Meanwhile, Emily Arthur was presented the Junior Athlete of the Year award after winning silver in the snowboard halfpipe at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
