For the second time in two years, Finnish Nordic Combined national team leader Ilkka Herola shone with a great performance at the Red Bull 400 event on his home hill of Puijo in Kuopio. The event that has competitors running up the ski jumping hill attracted a large starting field with other well-known names from the world of sports like cross-country skier Iivo Niskanen, snowborders Eeto Ettala and Heikki Sorsa as well as ice hockey player Tuomas Kiiskinen. 

It was just last year’s winner Risto Mägi that Herola had to concede defeat to in the individual race. In the team competition, the team of Herola and his brother Matti took the victory again like last year.
