Andreas Katz misses several weeks of training due to injury

German Cross-Country Skier Andreas Katz is out for several weeks after having suffered left shoulder injury. The 28-year-old skier fell off his bike end of July and injured ligaments on his left shoulder. Last week Katz  underwent a surgery.

It is uncertain when Katz can resume training. German national team doctor Andreas Kindt informs that the rehab will take at least 12 weeks

“Naturally it has not been my plan to miss 12 weeks of training. However, I am very happy that operation was successful. I know it will take some time until I can fully use my arm again. In the meantime, I will focus in the best possible way on the lower body training,” said Katz

We wish Andreas Katz a speedy recovery.
