Infront Sports & Media has confirmed a long-term sponsorship agreement with Pirelli, the Italian tyre manufacturer, for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships and the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships from 2017 to 2021.
The wide ranging winter sports agreement with Infront will see Pirelli - as the leading supplier of high performance and high end technology winter tyres - present at the 2017, 2019 and 2021 editions of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships, starting with St Moritz (SUI) from 6th – 19thFebruary 2017. The brand will benefit from exposure in camera view at key locations along the course and engagement with approximately 600 athletes on site. TV exposure is distributed across 70 countries to reach up to one billion viewers worldwide. Following the 2017 event, in 2019 Åre (SWE) will play host to the event followed by Cortina d’Ampezzo (ITA) in 2021.
