In 70 days, the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships will get underway in Lahti (FIN). The interest shown in this exceptional sporting event is large among spectators and media.

Starting on 22^nd February 2017, the Championships will include twelve medal events for Cross-Country Skiing, five in Ski Jumping and four in Nordic Combined. In total, 21 gold medals will be handed out when the Championships officially end on 5^th March.
