Coins with image of Kulakova and Smetanina are put in circulation
They are dedicated to famous Soviet skiers Galina Kulakova and Raisa Smetanina. Face-value of the coins is 2 RUB.
Galina Kulakova and Raisa Smetanina are the four-time Olympic Champions. Kulakova had three wins in Sapporo (1972) and one in Innsbruck (1976), Smetanina had two wins in Innsbruck (1976), Lake Placid (1980) and Albertville (1992).
