An unexpected adventure
When U.S. Snowboarding's very own Justin Reiter decided to climb The Grand Teton, WY, things turned out differently than originally planned.
The 2014 Olympian was going for a summit attempt together with former SBX World Cup athlete Graham Watanabe.
Both athletes are experienced mountaineers and were also well-equipped for their trip.
But when dealing with the mountains, you have to expect the unexpected.
During their climb the weather changed rapidly at the first saddle forcing both alpinists to rethink their original plan.
In the end, Reiter and Watanabe decided to abandon their try.
But get a look into their wild weekend for yourself. Here is the full story on Reiter's Steller account.
