Two World Cup stops in Germany
It has been more than ten years, that one of the strongest raceboard nations has hosted two different events in one season.
Last time Germany held two races was back in 2004 (Munich and Berchtesgaden).
In the upcoming season, Sudelfeld, a World Cup host in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014, will organise a parallel giant slalom race on the Waldkopf slope which got upgraded over summer with a new chair lift structure on February 7.
Five weeks later, on March 14, and wrapping up the alpine snowboarding events of the 21st FIS Snowboard World Cup season, Winterberg, a World Cup host in 2005 and 2006, will celebrate it's World Cup host comeback with a parallel slalom on the Poppenberg slope at the season's finals of the Alpine Snowboard World Cup tour.
