Social Media Ticker: A Japanese wedding
The new social media ticker on berkutschi.com gives a weekly overview over the internet-activities of the ski jumping stars. With a wink.

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. are part of our everyday life. That's the same for sports stars. Also ski jumpers from all over the world share at least a bit of their private life with the fans. Some more, some less.

He did it! Taku Takeuchi married his wife Niina in Karuizawa on November 1st. Of course he shared pictures of this big day on Facebook. And he did that in a special way: Takeuchi wrote a few lines in English as well. On that note: 誕生日おめでとう.

Family planning also seems to be an issue for Andreas Wank. At least certain prerequisites were already created: On his Facebook page the German shows a chronology of how his house was built. He already moved in some time ago, but he still shares new pictures taken in the living room regularly.

But now the upcoming World Cup season is in the center of attention on social-media again for Andreas Wank. Team pictures included.

Meanwhile Piotr Zyla is reminiscing about the past. This summer's best Polish athlete posted a childhood picture on Facebook - with an almost scientific approach. Zyla obviously tried to find the fastest way to get milk. So, to the udder!

And last but not least, to a) miss the summer and b) looking forward to the ladies' World Cup: Juliane Seyfarth. Like many of her colleagues, she cuts a fine figure not only in the ski jumping suit. In addition there are also great landscape shots on her Facebook page, and of course, lots of stuff about ski jumping. It's worth a look!
