Shymbulak set for a big World Snow Day
Shymbulak resort, located 25km from the city centre of Almaty (KAZ) has a huge event planned for World Snow Day.
Participants will receive free lift passes for all children under 14, gifts for participants, discounted rental service and discounted ski and snowboard lessons. To entertain younger children, a snowman building contest will take place along with a ropes park construction, tubing, food and beverages and master classes for the parents.
Shymbulak PR and Marketing Manager Saya Okas said of the event: “World Snow Day is one of the biggest events during the winter season not only for Shymbulak, but also for the whole Almaty city. Last year was the first time we celebrated this day at our resort and we had great feedback from our guests, especially from children. So this upcoming event is going to be even more interesting, full of pleasant discounts, competitions with different levels of difficulty and much more. This year we’re expecting more than 600 participants. We’ll do our best and hope, children will remember and look forward to World Snow Day as a second New Year. ”
