Alpine Skiing moves to North America, World Championship test events ahead
It is full speed ahead for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup races in North America as Lake Louise (CAN), Aspen and Beaver Creek (both USA) are all ready to welcome the world’s top Alpine skiers.

Aspen will host ladies’ slalom and giant slalom races on 29th-30th November 2014 while Lake Louise will stage men’s downhill and super-G competitions on the same weekend, followed by the ladies’ speed events on 6th and 7th December.

Beaver Creek will organise its final test for the 2015 World Championships with a men’s downhill, super-G and giant slalom from 5th -7th December 2014. “We are happy to report that snowmaking is 99 percent complete on the race venue at Beaver Creek,” said Chief of Race, Greg Johnson.

With the ladies testing the World Championship courses in Beaver Creek last season, Aspen was off the calendar in 2013, but the famous Colorado town is looking forward to welcoming back World Cup action.

Between the speed races in Lake Louise, tech events in Aspen and test events in Beaver Creek, ski fans around the world are in for some great racing in the next two weeks.
