Anders Bardal out for a couple of weeks
After his fall in Wisla, where he suffered a fracture of the left wrist, Anders Bardal underwent surgery on Wednesday in Trondheim.

"The injury was more complicated, this means that the fracture was stabilized with plates and screws. The surgery went according to plan. Usually such a fracture will heal within four to six weeks", physiotherapist Lars Haugvad said on the website of the Norwegian Ski Association.

For Anders Bardal, the World Championships in February in Falun remain the big goal, also after this surgery. "I trust the plan that was set up for me by the team. It sounds good. My goal is to take part in the WSC in Falun, but I don't want to be 25th there. The qualification for the competition on the normal hill will be held in four weeks and two days and I'm cautiously optimistic. I will do everything I can. It would be fun to compete in Sweden on a high level. I think it will be fantastic Championships", the 32-year-old is quoted on skiforbundet.no.
