Simon Ammann was named to the Swiss team for the Nordic World Ski Championships starting next week in Falun (SWE).

The four-time Olympic Champion, who suffered a serious concussion and strong bruises in the face when he fell in Bischofshofen early January, was able to start with jumping training again a few days ago and it seems he has recovered from his injuries right on time for this season's highlight.

Simon Ammann is on the Swiss team for Falun together with Gregor Deschwanden and Kilian Peier. A fourth athlete will be named after the Continental Cup in Lahti (FIN) this weekend. Gabriel Karlen, Andreas Schuler and Luca Egloff still have the chance to earn their spot on the team.

Sabrina Windmueller also still has the chance to qualify for the Championships with good performances in the next World Cup in Ljubno (SLO).
