Swiss-Ski sets Bern alight with children’s laughter

On a perfect autumn weekend from 5th-7th November 2015, the city square of the Swiss Capital Bern was filled with children’s laughter. The atmosphere was created in celebration of the start of the winter season and the 75th anniversary of Juskila.

Host Swiss-Ski along with its partners created a winter wonderland with the central peace being a miniature ski slope. Throughout the three-day event and in the presence of ski star Beat Feuz, schools were invited to take lessons and try snow sports for free. Professional instructors as well as equipment were on hand to make the experience fun, easy and safe.

Juskila has aligned with the FIS SnowKidz programme. The next event is set to take place from the 2nd-9th January 2016 in Lenk (SUI). If the introduction event in Bern is anything to go by, this is one that kids do not want to miss.
