Ten days before the World Cup in Ruka (FIN) the preparations in the far north are going according to plan.

Right now there are already about 20 to 30 cm of snow and it is still snowing. The Rukatunturi will be ready for jumping in a few days.

"The preparations of the landing area and the outrun will be done by Thursday. The inrun is covered with artificial snow and the cooling system works. The inrun track will be set early this week. It looks like they can start jumping on November 20th", said Jyri Pelkonen.

The two competitions in Ruka will be held on November 27th and 28th.
