Watles, ITA - Persistent warm temperatures and an almost complete lack of snow base has forced the cancellation of what would have been the first event of the 2016 calendar year, as officials have been forced to nix the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup Watles (ITA).

Located just across the border from Switzerland in Italy's upper Vinschgau valley, 2015/16 was to be the first time Watles would feature on the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup tour. With an exciting new venue and several days of parties, dj's, and other festivities planned around the event, Watles cancellation is a disappointing loss for all involved.
