FIS was saddened to learn about the passing of Michael Sachs (AUT) who died on Friday, 12^thFebruary 2016 after he collapsed in the finish area of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup in Crans Montana (SUI) two days earlier.

Born in 1973, Michael Sachs has served as a team doctor for the Austrian ladies’ World and Europa Cup teams for numerous years and was a highly committed and appreciated person.

FIS would like to express its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Michael Sachs.
