Second time’s the charm: positive snow control for Schonach
Sometimes, the second time’s the charm: FIS Snow Controller Joachim Bruder conducted the snow control for the World Cup Finals in Schonach on the upcoming weekend and everything looks ready for the three last World Cup competitions of the winter 2015/16.
Schonach will now have the opportunity to welcome the world elite of the Nordic Combined sports for their finals as well as for the 50th edition of the Schwarzwaldpokal, the most traditional event on the Nordic Combined calendar.
Hosting one Team Event, one Individual Gundersen and the Final Individual Gundersen consisting of 2 jumps and 15 kilometres of skiing, Schonach also takes over one of the cancelled events of the Klingenthal weekend, raising the World Cup competition count this winter to 22 out of 23 planned.
