

The FIS Development Programme Nordic Summer Training Camp is taking place this week with the first two Camps in Val di Fiemme (ITA) and Stams (AUT). From 2nd-10th September 2016 athletes from 12 different nations have come together for the Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined camps.
The nations taking part this year are: Bosnia Herzegovina, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine.
The programme for the participants is full and includes two daily training sessions of jumping, technical exercises for Ski Jumping, and Cross-Country activities for Nordic Combined. In addition there is also a wide variety of dryland training such as mountain biking, swimming, hiking and other activities in and around the extensive facilities in Val di Fiemme and Stams.
Overall, the FIS Development Programme Nordic Training Camp provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to participate in structured and professional training sessions. Next up will be the final camp of the summer season taking place in Rasnov (ROU) from 26th September – 1st October 2016 with a focus on Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined.
