Halti and the International Ski Federation FIS will start their eleventh consecutive season together. The cooperation started in 2008 equiping the Alpine Skiing competition management and FIS officials, and today Halti is the Official Clothing Supplier for Alpine, Cross-Country, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding.

The International Federation community of more than 100 Olympic and non-Olympic Sports is currently gathered in Lausanne (SUI) for the 13th edition of the IF Forum.

A new edition of the FIS Development Project Camp in Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined has been staged in Val di Fiemme (ITA).

Around 750 delegates from the extended FIS Family are currently in Zurich (SUI) for 60 meetings, workshops and seminars as part of the annual FIS Technical Committee Meetings at the Hilton Airport Hotel.

Three new ropeway lifts with a total length of 5 km will be installed in the Didveli area of Bakuriani, the host resort of the 2023 FIS Freestyle, Freeski and Snowboard World Championships.

For the past two seasons SnowKidz has exceeded 750 events and activities in a 12-month period. Whilst this momentum was excellent, we remained humble and did not predict the programme would exceed 800.

The Ski Jumping arena and Cross-Country tracks and stadium of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2021 in Oberstdorf (GER) are bustling with activity. The construction work to update both facilities is well underway and visible progress has already been made.

FIS Snowboard carried out successul inspections at two new Canadian venues set to join the World Cup calendar in 2019/20, firstly at Blue Mountain, Ontario, which is getting set to host parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom competitions from February 1 to March 2, and secondly at Big White, British Coloumbia, where snowboard cross and snowboard cross mixed team competitions will hit the slopes from January 24-26, 2020.

Last weekend, 60 Nordic Combined Technical Delegates reunited for their bi-annual meeting.
