



FIS files appeal to CAS on Anti-Doping Norway decision in Johaug case

The 2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti (FIN) concluded on Sunday, 5th March after a very successful 12 days of Cross Country, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined action.

Mostly organized in March in past winters, the “Vitranc Pokal” event at Kranjska Gora represents one of the most exciting highlights of the last part of the World Cup season prior to the Finals – as well as a spectacular battlefield for some of the best technical skiers on the tour.

After one full week of action at the 2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti (FIN), there has been no shortage of memorable moments and fantastic performances in the first seven days of competition.

Following the success of World Snow Day 2017, FIS confirmed that the seventh edition of World Snow Day will take place on 21st January 2018.


20th February 2017 is the reporting deadline for 2017 World Snow Day events.


France earned its first medal at the 2017 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships today when the team of Tessa Worley, Mathieu Faivre, Alexis Pinturault, Julien Lizeroux, Nastasia Noens and Adeline Baud Mugnier earned the gold medal at the Nations Team Event in St. Moritz.
